Ferrari Enzo

Named after its founder, the Ferrari Enzo embodies passion for performance, technology and a dramatic style. The styling of this car is directly derived from its function, with a body that is shaped for optimum airflow to cool the engine and brakes.

The Ferrari Enzo has a new, ultra-light, 6.0 liter V12 engine, with a 3,000rmp ensuring an extremely responsive engine. It boasts a six-speed gearbox that allows for smooth changes. The steering wheel is 350mm in diameter and it comes with a row of LEDs and grouped essential controls.

For serious car drivers, the Ferrari Enzo is the stuff dreams are made of, but they may not be able to get their hands on one as only 399 were built. The Enzo was one of Ferrari's limited editions in 2003. In a user reviews, it was rated 8.7 out of 10. In 2004, Sports Car International named the Enzo Ferrari number three on their list of top sports cars of the 2000s.

Ferrari plans on coming out with a new version of the Enzo every few years. The first version comes equipped with a carbon fiber front bumper, and has cameras instead of mirrors. It is priced at a hefty $643,330, but coming from Ferrari, that is not a big surprise. Because of the limited amount of Enzos made, it is difficult to get any users feedback. We do know that is was rated high, but as for any specifics, that is hard to come by.

Ferrari is known for race cars, and that is what they based the Enzo on. For this reason, it is equipped with all kinds of racing attributes but with the comfort and style of a hot street car. Ferrari is an Italian made car, known for sharp lines and high speeds, it is popular with the same type of people who enjoy extremes sports. I suppose you can say the Ferrari Enzo is the extreme sports car. It is hard to resist taking advantage of the racing capabilities of the Ferrari Enzo, being that it is based off of Ferrari's famous race history.

This car is not for the average set. Because of the high price, and limited availability it would be rare to find this car on any freeway, it more than likely is tucked away in professional garages more to be admired. Out on the open road, it is probably a sight to behold. With wide open spaces, and no worries of other cars around you can take the Ferrari Enzo out and marvel at what she is capable of.

For most of us, the only time we will see a Ferrari Enzo is on TV or in an ad. For those lucky few who can afford it, and got the special invitation from Ferrari to be on the only 399 people to buy one, well count yourselves lucky. Perhaps some of the later versions will be available to more people, but that is hard to know. The Ferrari company keeps much of what they do under their hats, leaving the salivating public left to imagine.
